Yahtzee is a classic dice game for two or more players in which each turn you roll six dice up to three times to make specific combinations. Each combination scores a different number of points and each combination may only be scored once per game. The game consists of thirteen turns per player — after which scores are tallied and the highest total wins. How scoring works in Yahtzee
The Yahtzee scorecard has two sections: an upper section with six boxes (one per die face) and a lower section with special combinations. Each player fills in exactly one box per turn.
- •Upper section (Ones through Sixes): total of all dice showing that face
- •Upper section bonus: +35 points if upper section total ≥ 63
- •Three of a kind: total of all five dice
- •Four of a kind: total of all five dice
- •Full House (three of one + two of another): 25 points
- •Small Straight (four consecutive): 30 points
- •Large Straight (five consecutive): 40 points
- •Yahtzee (five of a kind): 50 points (extra Yahtzee: 100 bonus points)
- •Chance (any combination): total of all five dice
Example: turn 7. You roll 3-3-3-5-5. You have three threes (Full House = 25 points) or three of a kind (total 19 points). You choose Full House because that box is still empty. Record 25 in the Full House box of the score tracker.

Each player gets thirteen turns — one per scoring box. After thirteen turns the scorecard is complete and totals are added up.
