Qwirkle uses 108 wooden tiles with 6 shapes in 6 colours. Players place tiles in lines of the same colour or same shape. The scoring rule is simple but can be confusing when tiles connect to multiple lines:
ScoreApp tracks the round score per player and calculates cumulative standings after every turn. Enter points including Qwirkle bonuses and the app immediately shows who is leading. The full round history is always available for review.
You score 1 point per tile in every line you extend, including the existing tiles already in that line. If your tile connects to two lines, count both. Completing a line of 6 (a Qwirkle) earns an extra 6 bonus points.
The most common mistake is forgetting the connecting line in the other direction. When you place a tile that extends two lines, you must count points for both. Players often only count the line they intentionally extended.
Yes, you can enter the last-tile bonus (6 points) separately when a player places their final tile. ScoreApp adjusts the total automatically.
A Qwirkle (a line of exactly 6 tiles) scores the total line value plus 6 bonus points. At minimum 12 points (6 tiles × 1 point + 6 bonus). In practice often more when the line extends tiles already on the board.
