Domino Score Tracker: track domino scores round by round for free

Dominoes is one of the oldest and most widely played tile games in the world. Two to four players take turns placing domino tiles so that matching halves are adjacent. The goal is to be the first to empty your hand. When one player goes out or no one can play, the round ends — and then the real scoring begins. Domino games are played across multiple rounds with each round changing the scoreboard. A clear score tracker ensures every round is recorded correctly and disputes about final standings are avoided.

How scoring works in dominoes

At the end of each round, all losing players count the pips (dots) on the tiles remaining in their hand. These values are added together and awarded to the round winner.

  • The round winner (first to empty hand) scores the total pip value of all opponents' remaining tiles
  • If the game is blocked (no one can play): the player holding the lowest pip count wins
  • In a blocked game the winner scores the difference between their pip count and each opponent's pip count
  • Play multiple rounds until someone reaches an agreed target (typically 100 or 150 points)
  • Tiles always count for their exact pip value (1–6 per end, max 12 per tile)

Example: round 2 is over. Player A went out. Player B holds tiles with 18 total pips, C holds 11 and D holds 23. A scores 18 + 11 + 23 = 52 points. Record 52 for A and 0 for B, C and D in the score tracker.
